Graduation Criteria

Requirements for students to qualify for the Camperdown High School Graduation Certificate.

Academic Requirements

  • Students must pursue a full course of study in no fewer than eight (8) subjects starting from Grade 10.
  • No subject may be discontinued at the end of Grade 10.
  • All subjects must be completed through Grade 11 and students must sit the corresponding external examinations (e.g., CSEC).
  • School-Based Assessments (SBAs) must be submitted for all subjects.

Co-Curricular & Conduct Requirements

  • Completion of at least 15 hours of community service per year from Grades 9 through 11.
  • Active participation in at least one co-curricular activity per year.
  • Good conduct: no suspensions or serious disciplinary infractions in Grades 10 and 11.
  • Outstanding attendance and punctuality.
  • All school fees must be fully paid.

Valedictory Service Criteria

  • Completion of CSEC in at least 8 subjects.
  • Registration for CSEC examinations in all required subjects.
  • Satisfactory completion of all SBAs.
  • Completion of community service hours and co-curricular participation.
  • Clear disciplinary record in senior school years.

Valedictorian Criteria

  • Outstanding academic performance in Grades 10 and 11.
  • Active involvement in co-curricular activities and completion of community service.
  • Exemplary behaviour with no suspensions or detentions.
  • All SBAs must be completed and submitted.
