Academic Awards for Excellence

Students who achieve outstanding academic performance will receive special recognition at our annual Prize-Giving Ceremony. The top performer in each grade will be awarded a certificate and medal.

Merit System

Merits are awarded to students for the following:

• Excellent performance in unit tests and examinations
• Demonstrated initiative, leadership and helpfulness
• Marked improvement in class work
• Outstanding attendance and punctuality
• Exemplary conduct in class and out of class
• Contribution to school-life through sports, music, drama, clubs and societies

Grades 10-12 (Upper School)	85 & above	75-84	65-74	55-64

Additional awards may be given for excellence in leadership, community service, sportsmanship and overall contribution to the school. Students and parents will be notified of award ceremonies and criteria at the beginning of each academic year.
